Biography cont'd

So five years after college, Melissa earned her Multiple Subject CLAD teaching credential from National University. She later went on to earn her Masters in Reading Education from the same institution. Melissa has collectively worked in five different grades in four different schools in California - public and private. All the while, she has developed her awareness of technology for both personal and professional use. She is very happy to be in education, and believes that any contribution she can make is a step in the right direction.

To some extent, it may look like Melissa is fast becoming a career student. She would argue with the cliché that every individual is a lifelong learner. The one benefit from tinkering in broadcasting is that it led to her real lifelong partner – her husband. The two of them share a darn cute kid in suburbia San Diego, and loving every minute of it.
